Our Racing background

Our experience and expertise have been established from our success on the racetrack with owner, Bob, being at the sharp end of UK club racing over the past two decades.

Our Workshop Manager, Matt, has also had a successful racing career by becoming Mini-Twin champion two years in a row, and runner up for 2021.

Between them, they have a wealth of knowledge when it comes to all things “Race” from attending race weekends and track days in the UK and Europe where they have tried and tested a lot of parts over the years to know what works and what is a waste of money.  As a result of this we know how to build bikes that perform, at a price that’s realistic and affordable.

Matt’s specialist subject is Mini-Twins, and what he doesn’t know about SV-650’s isn’t worth knowing!  From custom race looms to sub-frames and race fairings, he is the man to help you.

Motorcycle race tuning & preparation services

Power is nothing without control.

A successful racing motorcycle must be a complete package:  The most usable power, handling and braking are achieved from the very highest quality components.  However, highest quality doesn't necessarily mean the most expensive. 

To be successful these elements must all be set up correctly and working in harmony with both the individual rider and track conditions.  This is where our years of knowledge and experience set FWR apart; we won’t just sell you performance parts – we’ll make sure that they’re delivering their best for you.

We can advise, source, supply, and fit any thing you'd like to fit to your race or track bike; We can also offer advice on advanced engine tuning services and state of the art dyno testing with the help of our friends at MSG racing whom we often use for our dyno work and custom engine work as we currently do not offer this service in-house.
